We’re looking for a quality control inspector!

Condale Plastics is the largest producer of bespoke plastic extrusions in the South East of England with a successful track record of business growth for over 40 years. We supply a wide range of extruded profiles and tubes to a broad selection of customers in a variety of industries.

We are looking to recruit a quality control inspector to work within our factory. The QC inspector carries out routine quality checks on the extrusions that are produced at Condale. Checks include measurement of dimensions, assessment of visual characteristics, colour checks and other tests of form and function. All tests are recorded in inspection records. On occasions the QC Inspector will deputise for the Quality Manager.

The ideal person will be able to work accurately with a vernier, other gauges and instruments. They will be able to clearly record measurements and non-conformances, and will be numerate and literate, as well as able to interpret production instructions and production procedures.

The suitable candidate will have the personal assertiveness to ensure that production personnel adhere to accepted product requirements. Ideally they will also have worked in a quality role within a manufacturing environment and will also have carried out audits within an ISO9001 accredited business.
